extensive recruitment background that began in 2016, originally specialising in Finance

Chris Dyer has been at the forefront of the (Re)insurance executive search sector for
over a decade, currently leading the Insurance practice at Carnegie Consulting since

and MGA), and Alternative Risk Transfer (ART), with a significant focus on the London,
Bermuda, and USA markets.


Chris’s career began in the financial sector as an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA),

recruitment in 2007, he initially made his mark within the London underwriting market at

Nicholas joined Carnegie Consulting in February 2024, bringing a rich tapestry of
international recruitment expertise from his seven years in Hong Kong and extensive
experience across global financial hubs including London, Malaysia, Singapore, and
Chicago. Specialising in Hedge Fund and Private Equity recruitment, Nicholas has a
commendable track record with over 12 years in the field.


In 2017, Nicholas founded Strachan Clark, a highly successful buy-side recruitment firm
in Hong Kong. Over the years, he has achieved an impressive milestone of over 400
placements across more than 150 prestigious Hedge Funds, Crypto, and Private Equity
firms, leveraging his deep market knowledge and robust network.


Nicholas is renowned for his dynamic recruitment strategies and unmatched speed in
market adaptation. His enthusiasm for the Alternative Funds sector is matched by his
deep understanding of the intricacies of Front Office, Middle Office Operations, and
various specialised areas. His commitment to excellence is evident in his detailed

Clare has been recruiting Business Support/Marketing roles into Investment Management firms since 2002, joining Carnegie as a Director in 2016.

Prior to recruitment, Clare worked for several leading firms within the Finance industry including Goldman Sachs, Tullet Prebon and SBC Warburg. She has worked within the CRM/PWM sector, been a Corporate Entertainments Manager/EA & Roadshow Manager and has an in-depth appreciation of her market.  Having worked on both sides of the fence, Clare is able to relate to the individuals she works with in a manner that truly sets her apart.

Clare has a busy life away from the office, looking after her family of sports fanatics and beloved dog Archie.  Very happy to now finally have escaped London to the Sussex Downs  and is looking forward to checking out local walks with of course all the fresh local produce on a plate afterwards!
