Fiona has been in HR recruitment since 2010, having previously worked for a leading finance recruiter where she was responsible for all their regional offices.
Fiona specialises in delivering both retained and exclusive contingent recruitment solutions at Carnegie for a range of HR roles across the UK and beyond. With her wealth of experience and outstanding track record, Fiona has the determination and tenacity to bring even the most demanding assignment to a successful conclusion. She is naturally upbeat and brings a positive attitude to everything she does. This instils a level of credibility with both clients and candidates, who trust her advice and partner with her to generate mutually beneficial outcomes.
Prior to recruitment, Fiona enjoyed a career in retail management, including working for a major high street brand and project managed their first store opening in Spain before moving to a buying role in their Head Office.
Fiona loves to travel and is a real ‘foodie’, she likes to try out lots of different cuisines. She is a keen follower of most sports and is a Season Ticket holder for an EPL team who she follows over land and sea. She has also attended a World Cup Final, European and Champions League Finals, Winter and Summer Olympic games events, F1 grands prix, Rugby Six Nations games and Wimbledon. Fiona lives in rural Bedfordshire and enjoys long walks across the Chilterns. She keeps active by swimming and attending various fitness classes, her favourites being Pilates and Boxercise. From a very young age, Fiona has done a lot of fund raising and charity work for numerous good causes. She has been sponsoring families in The Gambia since 2000 and has arranged Charity Football matches at Blackpool FC, Fleetwood Town and Sutton Utd.
She focuses on mid to senior level appointments whether day rate, fixed term or permanent in duration and brings a solution orientated approach to both her clients and candidates’ requirements.
Prior to joining the Carnegie team, Bethany has spent over 15yrs recruiting within the Financial Services space across the UK & Europe. Utilising her experience to truly add value to her contacts whether for market insight, recruitment or helping candidates achieve their career objectives through focused moves. For Bethany, recruitment isn’t just about finding the best and right solution it is about building long term valued business relationships through truly partnering with her contacts.
Bethany lives in London and outside of work is a rugby fan and enjoys getting out on her bike as often as possible.
John works on both corporate company accounting, as well as fund accounting and administration roles with a particular emphasis on boutique to medium sized businesses, where a tailored and flexible approach is required.
Outside the office, John enjoys busy weekends exploring London, live music and following the Premier League as an Everton fan.
Prior to recruitment Chris had a successful career as an IFA before joining a small recruitment firm within the London underwriting market in 2007. After a number of years of successfully growing the platform he moved to a larger global executive search business that allowed him to engage with a broader market and further develop expertise within the international marketplace.
Chris has extensive knowledge of Broking, Underwriting (Lloyds, Company, and MGA) and Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) especially within London, Bermuda and the USA.
John recruits HR professionals at all levels in Reward, HRIS, L&D, Generalist, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Diversity and Global Mobility on both a permanent and interim basis. Within Compliance, he has developed a particular speciality in Private Equity, filling roles at Officer, Manager and Director levels.
Prior to his recruitment career, John served in the Royal Navy as a Bridge Officer with his most interesting deployments being two tours in Antarctica.
Outside of work, John enjoys Fencing, watching Cricket and going on animal related days out with his wife and daughter.
He has worked in recruitment since 2006, specialising in Private Equity and Real Estate Investment since 2013. He has a very strong professional network within the industry and works with some of the most prestigious Investment firms. Richard has a particular focus on boutique to medium sized businesses who require a tailored and individual approach.
Clare has been recruiting Business Support/Marketing roles into Investment Management firms since 2002, joining Carnegie as a Director in 2016.
Prior to recruitment, Clare worked for several leading firms within the Finance industry including Goldman Sachs, Tullet Prebon and SBC Warburg. She has worked within the CRM/PWM sector, been a Corporate Entertainments Manager/EA & Roadshow Manager and has an in-depth appreciation of her market. Having worked on both sides of the fence, Clare is able to relate to the individuals she works with in a manner that truly sets her apart.
Clare has a busy life away from the office, looking after her family of sports fanatics and beloved dog Archie. Very happy to now finally have escaped London to the Sussex Downs and is looking forward to checking out local walks with of course all the fresh local produce on a plate afterwards!
Darren joined Carnegie in 2012 and leads our Finance practice, recruiting both Permanent and Interim qualified accounting talent for our clients, most of whom operate within the Private Equity, Hedge Fund and traditional Asset Management sectors. He focuses on mid-to-senior level appointments. His team also recruit for non-qualified accountants.
Prior to joining Carnegie, Darren has developed and led Finance recruitment functions at two leading London based organisations and can demonstrate a strong track record in developing and retaining long standing client and candidate relationships. Darren is a business graduate from the University of Birmingham (1996).
Outside of work, Darren is an avid football fan, a voracious reader and has keen interests in music and travel. He lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and 2 daughters.
