Sustainability Analyst – Climate Focus (Award Winning Asset Manager)
£65,000 basic salary plus bonus and employee benefits

- Within this role you will report to the Head of Sustainability, to support and contribute to the development and implementation of my client’s sustainability strategy
- The tasks and responsibilities are broad and offer a huge amount of variety
- Working with investment teams you will offer advice on responsible investment and active ownership/stewardship, as well as prepare and work with investment teams on ESG product regulation and label applications for funds
- Additionally, you will assist investment teams in delivering on higher expectations of responsible investment
- Contribute to the central sustainability oversight and monitoring process
- Understand third-party data methodology and data and supporting investment teams on data and analysis of ESG factors
- Take a lead on and drive sustainability projects, being proactive in developing sustainability initiatives
- This will include contributing to the development and implementation of my client’s climate investment strategy, developing a net zero commitment and climate stewardship policy and process
- You will deliver on mandatory and voluntary sustainability reporting requirements, taking a lead in producing sustainability, stewardship, TCFD and PRI reports
- Assist in meeting emerging regulatory requirements
- Work with other central teams on delivering cross-departmental projects related to ESG and contribute to the corporate ESG strategy
- Contribute to sustainability due diligence process of clients
Your Experience:
- You will possess a strong record of relevant academic achievement, ideally with appropriate industry qualifications such as the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and/or Certificate in ESG Investing (CFA Institute) / Sustainability
- You will have experience in the investment industry and be able to demonstrate a passion and notable interest in ESG and climate-related requirements
- Familiarity with the TFCD (Task Force Climate Related Financial Disclosures)
- Ideally you will have formal experience of working within a role with an ESG flavour and be able to demonstrate a good understanding and interest in the ESG landscape and upcoming initiatives
- Possess strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Strong excel proficiency, Excel VBA preferred and be able to draw stories, insights and conclusions from data
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet tight and multiple deadlines
- Be able to meet the challenge of a fast-moving and rapidly changing part of this specific business and the investment industry
