1:1 EA to CIO – Family Office – new Investment Fund – 4 days in office, 1 day WFH

This is your chance to work hand-in-hand with their newly appointed CIO, as he grows the office from the ground up. As the right-hand person to the CIO, you’ll be at the heart of the action, handling a myriad of responsibilities with finesse and precision. From managing complex calendars to crafting compelling communications, your role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations and driving their success forward. Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing day-to-day:

  • Prioritizing and managing intricate calendars, resolving conflicts like a pro
  • Crafting updates and communications for the executive team
  • Acting as the liaison during meetings, capturing key insights and tracking action items
  • Serving as an extension of the executive, taking on diverse tasks to keep things running seamlessly
  • Anticipating needs and proactively addressing them with autonomy and initiative
  • Driving efficiency and innovation within the team, contributing fresh ideas and insights
  • Leading cross-functional projects and team-building events
  • Tackling special projects with expertise in Google GSuite Apps, Slack, and other essential tools
  • There will be some Office Management to do but not a lot!

If you’re a master multitasker with a knack for communication then I look forward to hearing from you. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting executives in a fast-paced environment – ideally VC/PE or similar
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and empathy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for recognizing opportunities
  • A positive, reliable, and flexible attitude
  • Strong academics desirable (but not essential)
