This is a highly unusual Graduate level position which give the successful candidate a fantastic first step in a highly desirable and future proof career in Financial Services.

Because this is a graduate level position, I am expecting a high level of applications. I’m almost certainly not going to be able to reply to everyone so please accept these apologies in advance.

This also means that there is absolutely no way anyone needing visa sponsorship will be considered.

The Candidate

What I am looking for is a graduate who stands out from the crowd in a relevant way. This could mean:

  • Strong Academics in relevant subjects.
  • Internships in Buy Side firms.
  • Knowledge and interest in financial services (ie know what phrases like Buy Side means).
  • A well-constructed CV between 1 and 2 pages long. (you are graduates, if you stretch into more than this then you are not a suitable communicator for a compliance role (verbose legal grads beware!)
  • Flexibility (one way I will judge of that is how easy you are to arrange an interview)
  • Being happy to work 5 days a week in the office.
  • Smart, both in appearance and in conversation. PE can be quite conservative and while you have every right to have pink hair, tattoos and nose rings, it’s my client’s right to not hire you.

The Role

  • Maintain the Compliance Calendar, monitor key deliverables, and support the preparation and submission of FCA, SEC, AIFMD and other regulatory returns.
  • Coordinate and maintain AML and KYC processes, including training enrolment, documentation collation, and upkeep of internal records.
  • Support the annual review and ongoing updates of compliance documentation such as the Compliance Manual, Compliance Review and key registers (Gifts & Entertainment, NDAs, Outside Interests, Personal Account Dealing, and Directorships).
  • Assist with insurance and regulatory renewals across multiple jurisdictions (including D&O, ESOS, AIFMD, MiFID II, MLD4, and DAC 6).
  • Manage corporate filings and maintain entity ownership records across UK, US, and other jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local requirements.
  • Support governance and audit processes, including Risk Management Committee meetings, CASS reviews, and fund/corporate audits.
  • Contribute to ad hoc compliance and HR projects, such as visa renewals, handbook updates, and internal presentations.
